ABOUT
Christian draws on his experience and interest in working with diverse mediums
to approach the development and realisation of concepts from multiple perspectives. He enjoys observing and criticising the ways of humans and other animals, and finds humour in humourless situations. He aims to find something interesting in everything and always acknowledges an enlightening point of view. Christian’s projects often alternate between realising preconceived concepts and capturing existing scenarios. He recently won second prize in the World Vision Australia, Art for Aid competition, for his Global Water Crisis project.
Currently, Christian is living and working in Melbourne as a freelance
Photographer and Visual Artist. He is working on personal and commissioned projects and recently co-founded the Festival of Something, a multidisciplinary collective of artists working in collaboration. He is developing concepts for Pro-Vegetarian and Anti-Zoo/Aquarium campaigns in collaboration with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), and preparing for his up coming ‘Basketball Column’ installation exhibition at TCB art Inc. in Melbourne.
